We are looking for a skilled, product-oriented Full Stack Engineer who combines deep expertise in frontend and backend development with a strong focus on quality, performance, and modern engineering practices. In this role, you will be part of a team building a scalable, AI-first platform that connects retailers and lenders to deliver seamless Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) financing at the point of sale.

Your main responsibilities
Build & ship (core focus)
- Design and implement scalable, high-quality solutions using .NET Core (C#), React (TypeScript), MongoDB, and Google Cloud Platform
- Develop performant, accessible (WCAG-compliant) user interfaces and seamless user experiences
- Consume and contribute to RESTful API design, while participating in backend architecture decisions
Own your code (hands-on development & ownership)
- Take end-to-end ownership of features: architecture, implementation, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and production support
- Translate product requirements and UX designs into robust, maintainable technical solutions
- Break down tasks, provide estimates, and drive execution in an agile environment
Quality first & architecture excellence
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following industry best practices
- Develop and maintain comprehensive automated tests (unit tests with Vitest/Jest and React Testing Library, contribute to backend & system reliability)
- Optimize performance, ensure frontend observability, and apply modern patterns (component design, state management, microservices, event-driven architecture)
- Contribute to improving developer experience, tooling, and platform infrastructure
- Leverage AI coding assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) for faster development, debugging, refactoring, test generation, and prototyping
Collaborate & elevate
- Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, DevOps, and Data teams
- Participate in technical decision-making, architecture discussions, and code reviews
- Mentor peers and contribute to raising the overall engineering standards
- Help shape and evolve AI-driven workflows within the team

Must-have qualifications
- B.Sc. in Computer Science / Software Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5+ years of professional software development experience
- 3+ years of experience with C# and .NET Core
- 3+ years of experience with React
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture and component design
- Proven experience with unit testing frameworks (Vitest or Jest) and React Testing Library
- Experience consuming and designing RESTful APIs
- Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle
- Experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills and product-oriented mindset
